Garrison you God Damned piece of shit! You sold us out. Surely you couldn’t have been that fucking incompetent. You had the pilots fly the Black Hawk Helicopters around the city in a fixed pattern. You knew they would be sitting ducks for the RPG’s I still mourn for the good men we lost that day.; and then their dead bodies drug through the streets as America and the rest of the world watched in horror. However, still I’m impressed by the brave troops who volunteered to go in time and time again to help save their fallen comrades. This incident has had had long ranging repercussions for both the military and the intelligence community. Clinton got cold feet and ordered the removal of all CIA personal from Iraq where we were training the Kurds to overthrow Saddam Hussein. They were all gassed to death. When the Massacres in Rwanda began Clinton tied our hands and forbid us to help save those people.

But of course this was part of a many decades effort to demoralize the American military.

In Vietnam advance intelligence reports warned of the impending Tet Offensive. But why didn’t it make it into the hands of the Generals in charge?

This defeat scarred the military and America in general forever.
